California Privacy Notice (CCPA)

Last Updated: June 2026

This California Privacy Notice ("Notice") applies to consumers who reside in the State of California and supplements our general Privacy Policy. It is provided in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 ("CPRA"). Capitalised terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in our Privacy Policy. Where this Notice conflicts with the Privacy Policy, this Notice governs for California residents.

CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from Website visitors:

Identifiers — online identifiers such as IP address and cookie IDs that are automatically collected when you visit our Website.

Internet or other electronic network activity — information about your interaction with our Website, including pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and referring URL.

Geolocation data — approximate geographic location inferred from your IP address (city or region level). We do not collect precise geolocation data.

Contact information (when voluntarily provided) — name and email address submitted through our contact form.

SOURCES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect personal information directly from you (for example, when you submit our contact form) and indirectly through automated tracking technologies (Google Analytics cookies and Google AdSense advertising cookies) when you browse our Website.

BUSINESS OR COMMERCIAL PURPOSE FOR COLLECTING AND SHARING INFORMATION

We collect personal information for the following purposes:

— To operate and improve the Website and its editorial content;

— To understand how visitors interact with our content through Google Analytics;

— To serve and measure advertising through Google AdSense;

— To respond to enquiries submitted via our contact form;

— To detect and prevent security incidents and fraud; and

— To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We share identifiers and internet activity data with Google LLC in connection with Google Analytics and Google AdSense. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or unaffiliated third parties for their own commercial purposes. However, sharing of identifiers with Google for personalised advertising may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA; see the opt-out options below.

YOUR CALIFORNIA CONSUMER RIGHTS

As a California consumer, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

Right to Know. You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past twelve (12) months, including the sources of that information, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. You may make this request up to twice per twelve-month period.

Right to Delete. You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain legal exceptions (for example, where retention is necessary to complete a transaction, detect fraud, or comply with a legal obligation).

Right to Correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-contextual behavioural advertising. To exercise this right, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer, enable a recognised Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, or contact us at info@wellnesstabloid.com.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. We do not collect sensitive personal information (as defined by the CPRA) beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the Website. If we were to collect it, you would have the right to limit its use to that which is necessary to perform the services you requested.

Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right, unless a difference is reasonably related to the value of your personal information.

HOW TO SUBMIT A RIGHTS REQUEST

California consumers may submit a rights request by writing to us at info@wellnesstabloid.com. Your request must include enough information for us to reasonably verify your identity (typically your name and email address). We will respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we will notify you of the reason and the extension period.

Authorised agents: If you wish to use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf, the agent must provide written proof of your authorisation (such as a signed permission or power of attorney). We may also require direct verification from you before processing the request.

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES

We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for consumers providing personal information.

DO NOT TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because no uniform standard exists. We do honour recognised Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as opt-out requests relating to the sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.

DIRECT MARKETING

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please email info@wellnesstabloid.com.
